$250 mPOWER Scholarships available to Mission Transition attendees!!!

Thanks to generous funding from mPOWER and FAME (Finance Authority of Maine), 6 scholarships are available to Mission Transition attendees across the state.   Please think about which of the students you brought today fit the following criteria, and help them to apply.

Criteria for this scholarship:

Student must have attended any of the statewide Mission Transitions in 2009,

The student must be enrolling in a school within the University of Maine system in the next year, 

Have a diagnosed disability,

Attach a one page essay on the topic "How will attending college help me reach my dreams/goals?" OR submit a voice recording, video or Imovie on the same topic,

Deadline for application is June 1st, 2009. A winner will be announced mid June.
